The world of the congenital vascular anomaly is not popular among imaging specialists: It is often viewed as a limitless array of interweaving array of vascular entities beset by a nomenclature as inconsistent as it is misleading. However, the tireless work of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA) - exemplified in their 2014 classification of vascular anomies - has brought clarity to the confusion. Based on the ISSVA 2014 classification scheme and illustrated by cases seen through the Queensland's vascular anomalies service - based at the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital, Brisbane - a simple and robust approach to the imaging evaluation of congenital vascular anomalies will be presented.L6165329702017-06-06 <br />en
