The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth and the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand (PSANZ) have recently partnered in updating an important clinical practice guideline, Care of pregnant women with decreased fetal movements. This guideline offers 12 recommendations and a suggested care pathway, with the aim to improve the quality of care for women reporting decreased fetal movements through an evidence-based approach. Adoption of the guideline by clinicians and maternity hospitals could result in earlier identification of higher-risk pregnancies, improved perinatal health outcomes for women and their babies, and reduced stillbirth rates.1479-828xDaly, Lisa M
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0003-4014-5311
Gardener, Glenn
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-8123-0718
Bowring, Victoria
Burton, Wendy
Chadha, Yogesh
Ellwood, David
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0003-4512-6443
Froen, Frederik
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0001-9390-8509
Gordon, Adrienne
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-2328-1066
Heazell, Alexander
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-4303-7845
Mahomed, Kassam
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0002-5979-8091
McDonald, Susan
Norman, Jane E
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0001-6031-6953
Oats, Jeremy
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0003-3808-9808
Flenady, Vicki
ORCID: http://orcid.org/0000-0001-8114-7677
Journal Article
Australia
Aust N Z J Obstet Gynaecol. 2018 Jan 22. doi: 10.1111/ajo.12762.
en
