Abstract: Sepsis is a serious clinical presentation that can lead to multi-organ failure and potentially death. Children and young adults are particularly susceptible and can deteriorate rapidly. Ultrasound can be helpful in evaluating the myriad symptoms of sepsis by informing treating clinicians of progression of the condition and treatment efficacy. This presentation will provide some background on sepsis and discuss the role that sonography can play in children and young people suffering from this condition.L6222772632018-05-29
