Title: | Intermittent combined low-dose UVA1/narrow band UVB therapy for cutaneous T-Cell lymphoma/ Sezary syndrome: Report of a case and discussion of its implications | Authors: | Pitney, M. J. Pitney, L. K. |
Issue Date: | 2015 | Source: | 56 , 2015, p. 59-60 | Pages: | 59-60 | Journal: | Australasian Journal of Dermatology | Abstract: | A 74-year-old woman with long standing cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma/Sezary Syndrome was referred to a private dermatology clinic for consideration of phototherapy after significant worsening of her condition. The patient lived a long distance from the clinic. The decision to treat her with intermittent courses of low-dose UVA1/Narrow Band UVB Therapy led to a dramatic improvement in her condition and quality of life. We reflect on how this may influence the treatment of similar patients into the future. | Resources: | http://www.embase.com/search/results?subaction=viewrecord&from=export&id=L72184773http://dx.doi.org/10.1111/ajd.12337 http://linksource.ebsco.com/ls.b6e6cc08-c492-42af-aec4-c6084e18e68c.true/linking.aspx?sid=EMBASE&issn=00048380&id=doi:10.1111%2Fajd.12337&atitle=Intermittent+combined+low-dose+UVA1%2Fnarrow+band+UVB+therapy+for+cutaneous+T-Cell+lymphoma%2F+Sezary+syndrome%3A+Report+of+a+case+and+discussion+of+its+implications&stitle=Australas.+J.+Dermatol.&title=Australasian+Journal+of+Dermatology&volume=56&issue=&spage=59&epage=60&aulast=Pitney&aufirst=L.K.&auinit=L.K.&aufull=Pitney+L.K.&coden=&isbn=&pages=59-60&date=2015&auinit1=L&auinitm=K. |
