Abstract: Here we present two cases of eruptive keratoacanathomas within a recent tattoo. Both patients were scheduled for excision of multiple lesions as partial biopsies had been misinterpreted as well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Disfiguring surgery has been avoided with the use of oral acitretin in these patients. Due to the rise in body art in recent years more cases are likely to occur.
