Abstract: There has been growing interest in the associations among biological aging, stress, and psychopathology. Biological aging reflects an individual's functional and biological condition, and one of the indicators is telomere length.1 Telomeres consist of DNA repeats at chromosome ends.2 It is a normal process that telomeres shorten during the lifespan, but this process can be accelerated and result in biological aging associated with morbidity and mortality.2L20036292722019-11-12
