Data Sources: Pertinent neonatal and paediatric literature on the topic of interest and international Extracorporeal Life Support Organisation (ELSO) registry data request. Conclusions: The international ELSO registry data reveals increasing rates of anticoagulation-related complications during neonatal and paediatric ECMO worldwide.
