Description of service: The GCUH Clinical Trials Service (CTS) is the central hub for clinical trials at Gold Coast Health. The team of coordinators, administrative staff and principal investigators have vast experience and knowledge in clinical research that facilitates clinical trials across the entire health service over a multitude of therapeutic disciplines . Whether it is industry sponsored trials or investigator initiated research, the CTS has the ability to support a variety of research projects from Phase I to Phase IV. Combined with their newly opened clinical trials facility, onsite pharmacy, imaging and pathology services, the CTS has the ability to run clinical trials that may otherwise seem logistically challenging.
